Terms and Conditions

This section of booking Terms and Conditions contain important information. It is essential that you read them carefully and understand them. The booking Terms and Conditions constitutes a legally binding contract between Himalaya Discovery Adventures and our clients, which ensures satisfaction and safety as well as providing top quality services.

1. When you confirmed trip, we need photo copy of your passport and 30 % down payment of the total price for advance flight tickets and hotel booking and permit process.

2. Payments can be wired by bank transfer, western union, please use any means of transfer according to your convenience.

3. Bank service charge should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of deposit.

4. After receiving photo copy of your passport, and 30% advance from you, we send you final confirmation receipt.

5. Remaining balance can be made after your arrival in Nepal. Full payment should be made before trip departure. Be mindful, we also reserve the right to cancel your trip provided full amount is not paid in time.

Cancellation by the Client

Cancellation notice is required minimum 21 days prior to trip departure and must be made in writing, such notice commences from the day notice is received. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving documentation. The trip shall then be termed as cancelled and a cancellation charge of 30 % of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.

Passports & Visas

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 moths validity from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients.

Travel Insurance

It is compulsory for all clients to have travel insurance before undertaking any tour, which should provide protection for the full duration of your tour to cover personal injury, accidents, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and basic coverage for baggage.

Health & Fitness

Before you set out to travel, it is advised that clients check with the local hospital regarding your health and fitness since tours and treks require a certain level of physical fitness in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Please notify Himalaya Discovery Adventures of any pre-existing medical condition and/ or disability that may affect your ability to travel.

Complaints

Should you have a complain of any sort concerning the trip or tour you must make it known to a tour leader or guide or the directing manager at the earliest opportunity who will take the appropriate action. We take your concerns seriously especially if they are discriminatory, fraudulent behavior, or sexual harassment claims. Take also the opportunity to fill out our feedback form in order to improve the quality of our service & company. We appreciate any kind of feedback.

Risks & Liability

Himalaya Discovery Adventures has directed towards the fulfillment of your every desire. In this connection, We perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, We will not take any responsibility regarding any change & alternations in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restrictions, political strikes or unrest, landslides, road blockage, floods, snow avalanche, cancellation of domestic flights or missed flights, delay, inability to provide seats, any loss, thefts or damages, load shedding, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the client on the spots.
